Romit graduated from one of the country’s premier institutions, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

Romit led news broadcast operations for the national Hindi news channel Samay, part of the Sahara India Pariwar. At the time, the group was among India’s largest conglomerates and one of the country’s biggest employers after Indian Railways.
For over a decade, he was responsible for driving the channel’s news output, managing live programming and editorial execution at scale. The image here captures him producing a live news broadcast for the channel.
Romit completed his Master’s with merit from Cardiff University. Its School of Journalism, Media and Culture is consistently ranked among the top institutions globally for media and communications by the QS World University Rankings.

Romit worked with Sky News, covering the Cardiff North constituency during the 2015 United Kingdom general election. He was selected for this role from a pool of over 100 international students at Cardiff.

Romit led the editorial vertical at Televisory, collaborating with over 25 global news providers, all secured at no cost to the company. He also played a key role in securing the company’s presence on the Nasdaq Tower in New York, organically.
Romit served as Country Lead for News and Communications at S&P Global, a Fortune 500 firm. He was part of the Senior Management Team and the global news leadership group.
He led internal communications and news across APAC, covering operating centres in India, Pakistan and the Philippines.
